Wolverley & Cookley Parish Council Meeting – Cookley Sebright Primary School 6.50pm The quarry is on the agenda please come and let the parish council know your views, anyone wishing to speak publicly, will have three to five minutes to do so at 7pm PROMPT before the council meeting commences, there is no leeway so residents make sure you arrive promptly to HAVE YOUR SAY!

Public Meeting – Heathfield Knoll School, Sports Hall, Wolverley, Kidderminster DY10 3QE 6.30pm NRS Aggregates Ltd have submitted their planning application to Worcestershire County Council (on 06.02.20) to quarry 110 acres of Green Belt at Lea Castle Farm situated alongside the A449 (Wolverhampton Road) and B4189 (Wolverley Road). We have 6 weeks to submit our objections.

The Fight Continues! Heathfield Knoll School Sports Hall 6.30pm
The Stop The Quarry Action Group will be holding its Annual General Meeting open to the general public at Heathfield Knoll School Sports Hall September 6th 2021 at 6.30pm. We will be discussing the current planning application and where things are at, what and how you need to object, how the local minerals plan impacts this proposal, and what we are doing to support the community in order to put a stop to this quarry once and for all. We ask you to join us, bring your questions, and let our experts explain the further developments on this planning application so together we can say SORRY NO QUARRY!

Start of Planning Inquiry – six days Tues-Fri, Tues-Wed
The Stop The Quarry Action Group will be represented, but will only have a chance if we have enough good evidence, and the funds to present it.
The Inquiry will be held at Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel, Bromsgrove Rd, Kidderminster DY10 4PJ and opens at 10:00am on Tuesday 28th February 2023.
It will sit on the 28th Feb, 1st, 2nd and 3rd March, break for the weekend, then sit again on the 7th and 8th of March.
Residents will probably be asked to speak on the afternoon of the first day.
